FAQs
What's the difference between a vinyl backed sticker and a UV DTF Transfer?
UV DTF transfer is basically a sticker created by printing and curing resin directly on an permanent adhesive transfer. When applied to an object, the printed portion has no backing layer and is solely cured UV resin. This means you a waterproof and weatherproof sticker that is less raised (and thus less chance for uplifting/removing) than a traditional vinyl backed sticker. There is also less "white outline" around the edges of the sticker compared to vinyl backed stickers, though this can be customized with UV DTF (the industry term for this is "choke").
Is this a permanent sticker?
Yes, it is permanent. Take care in applying as once the adhesive touches something, it will stick and be difficult to remove!
How do I apply a UV DTF sticker?
Simply peel the white backing layer to reveal the sticker. Then apply your sticker to the object and then apply pressure so that the adhesive makes a strong bond with the object. Once applied, it is permanent.
What's a "reasonable lifetime warranty"?
All of the items created in this shop are created and produced by me and my shop. While they are all inspected and only shipped out when they meet my quality standards, I may miss a few things here or there. There are also some items which I have not done long term testing for, but I expect to last long. If they do not, the "reasonable lifetime warranty" says that I will either refund you or send you a replacement in exchange for photos some feedback on how damage occurred. This is my way of improving my processes and making sure the products are as high quality as I expect.
